Andrea Bocelli to perform in SA again
The opera singer has millions of fans and has won numerous prestigious awards.

World-renowned classical star Andrea Bocelli will return to South Africa in April.
Organisers announced yesterday that he will perform with a 140-piece symphony orchestra and choir.
“In Johannesburg, he will perform with the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra and the Symphony Choir of Johannesburg and in Cape Town, with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir,” Big Concerts said in a statement.
The concert will be split into two parts. For the first part, Bocelli will perform some of the most famous opera arias, while the second part will be dedicated to his most popular hits and crossover songs for a once-in-a-lifetime evening.
His son, Matteo Bocelli, will also join his father to perform the duet Fall on Me.
Bocelli, who has sold 85 million records and collaborated with a host of A-list pop stars such as Celine Dion, Tony Bennett , Ed Sheeran and Jennifer Lopez, has millions of fans and has won numerous prestigious awards.

Show dates are April 18 in Johannesburg at the Ticketpro Dome and in Cape Town on April 22 at Val de Vie Estate, Paarl.
Tickets will go on sale for the first time at Computicket on Friday.
