AKA has eaten his words and apologised to Sizwe Dhlomo for his insulting tweets last week.
Over the weekend, the rapper trended on Twitter after he issued the media personality an apology for mocking him and his family.
The insulting tweets included AKA taking aim at the businessman’s choice of wardrobe, lingo and even mocking his new farming venture.
AKA took it a step further when he mocked Sizwe’s grandfather, who was also a renowned farmer.
But AKA has done a complete turnaround, claiming that his tweets were “reckless and stupid”. He tweeted: “I would like to apologise not to just the entire Dhlomo family but also the friends and comrades offended by my tweets last week.
“After educating myself properly about the sacrifices made by Sizwe’s grandfather and others close to him, I realise how reckless and stupid that was.”

He further claimed that Sizwe had accepted his apology.
Myself & @SizweDhlomo have ironed out all our issues and from here on out … we straight. We realized we go too far back for things to be this way. Doesn’t mean we won’t disagree from time to time but that’s how it’s gonna be.

After fans questioned AKA’s new attitude, he claimed that he had “educated” himself about Sizwe’s grandfather Isaac who was a prominent struggle stalwart.
I had to educate myself about Issac Dhlomo, who he was, and what he did … after that I couldn’t let it slide. I had to apologize. https://t.co/Qql1f0YXM6

He also dismissed claims that Sizwe’s lawyers had threatened him with a lawsuit.
Not at all. I reached out to him through a mutual friend. https://t.co/X4pAPbeqXh

Meanwhile, despite AKA’s change of heart, he has vowed never to apologise to his nemesis Cassper Nyovest, unless he beats it out of him.
Responding to fan questions, AKA admitted that he regretted his words towards the Fill Up star, but was only prepared to apologise if he lost the much-hyped boxing match set to take place later this year.
Not a chance. He’s gonna have to beat it out of me. https://t.co/xXLIiuSSvc
