AKA and DJ Zinhle split

The couple, who welcomed their daughter, Owethu Kairo Forbes, last month. DJ Zinhle published an official statement on her blog today, announcing that the couple have decided to end their relationship of three years.

“We both wish nothing but a great future for each other and remain dear and trusted friends as well as co-parents to our wonderful baby Kairo, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” the statement reads.

The announcement comes as a shock as AKA recently posted on Twitter that he was paying the damages for impregnating DJ Zinhle out of wedlock.
