Affairs are for married men/women – AKA

Since the day DJ Zinhle confirmed AKA and Bonang Matheba’s relationship, camps were formed, some standing with Bonang, and some on DJ Zinhle’s side. AKA and Bonang have not verbally confirmed their relationship, however, Twitter believes what Zinhle said on her blog.

What made matters worse was Bonang suing DJ Zinhle for publicising her relationship with AKA, which she said did not exist. Court papers ordered Zinhle to retract her statement and apologise to Bonang, which never happened, according to Zinhle in a statement.

Celebrities who were vocal about their opinion on the matter include Pearl Thusi who asked if there was “an AskAWoman to ask how to apologies to a woman who slept with your man”, with DJ Euphonik tweeting: “You can lie to most people most of the time but you cannot lie to all people all the time.”

Since then, Pearl and Bonang have been throwing shade at each other, leading to Pearl’s suspension from Metro FM.

Twitter, however, has not stopped throwing shade at Bonang, every time she gets reminded of how she took DJ Zinhle’s man, and being a homewrecker. This picture has been making rounds on Twitter:

On Sunday, AKA expressed his frustrations on the matter, saying it is “ridiculous how people are taking my separation with the mother of my child, worse than the mother of my child”.

A Twitter user then replied, telling AKA his “affair” was “trash”, to which he responded “Affairs” are for married men and women. Some told him they were mad at him for “flaunting” his relationship with Bonang, saying it shows they don’t have any regard for DJ Zinhle. However, AKA said everyone had moved on and that there is no love triangle.

Some users said they were taking Zinhle’s side because she was pregnant when he had the “affair”, while some advised him to move on with his life and just be a good father to his daughter Kairo.
