Babes Wodumo’s pic with Mampintsha sparks pregnancy speculation
Comedian Thenjiwe was one of the first who speculated that the couple may be expecting a bundle of joy.
Bongekile Simelane, popularly known as Babes Wodumo, sparked pregnancy rumours after posting a picture of her and Mampintsha on social media on Tuesday. The gqom queen divided her followers, with some insulting her for seemingly getting back with Mampintsha, while some, including DJ Tira, sent the couple love.
“Baby daddy,” wrote Babes Wodumo, to which Tira responded: “My people.”
Comedian Thenjiwe was one of the first who speculated that the couple may be expecting a bundle of joy.
“Khon’ingane layindlini [there is a child in the house],” said Thenjiwe, while Twitter user Mofokeng asked: “You’re the baby and he’s the daddy? Or you guys have baked something in the oven?”
The Wololo hitmaker has been at the receiving end of criticism from social media users following her assault video, court cases and again seemingly getting back with her alleged abuser. The two have made a song together singing “Khon’ingane layindlini”, words used by Mampintsha during the alleged assault.

Since then, her father has voiced his disapproval of the couple and said he would be sad if they got back together.
