While we are still a few months away from the end of the year, several local and international celebrity relationships have already bit the dust.
Only this month, at least five celebrities, including the American actress Teyana Taylor, confirmed a breakup.
Comedian Mongezi “Tol Ass Mo” Ngcobondwane revealed in July that he and his wife have called it quits after nearly 14 years of being together. Opening up about their separation on DJ Fresh’s YouTube show called ‘WAW! with DJ FRESH (What a Week!)’ Tol Ass Mo said they grew apart, adding that he was traumatised by black women.
“I am tramatised to the point that I don’t want to be with a black woman and Mome is not part of my trauma,” he added.

Ariana Grande reportedly filed for divorce from Dalton Gomez after two years of marriage a few days ago.
The news of the pair’s separation emerged in July after a source told Page Six at the time that: “They came to the decision together. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”
According to court documents seen by E! News, the pop star has asked to receive spousal support among other things as per their prenup.
Lion King producer Lebohang ‘Lebo M’ Morake’s divorce battle with his estranged wife, Pretty Samuels, is continuing with recent reports that Samuels has accused him of abuse.
Morake filed for divorce last month after his estranged wife allegedly refused to delete his electronic signature. He said he had given her proxy to sign documents on his behalf during his Europe tour from April to June this year.
The couple released a joint statement earlier this month confirming their divorce. They said they had mutually agreed to end their marriage.
“After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly, this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” read the statement.
Sunday World reported a few days ago that the music legend is in the process of divorcing his wife of more than two decades, Nomfundo Nyathi.
The pair had reportedly been living separately for a decade now and have decided to file for divorce after they failed to rekindle their relationship.
The pair called it quits after 14 months of marriage. Asghari cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and asked Spears to pay spousal support and his attorney fees.
Princess Zulu confirmed through Instagram that she is no longer with the rapper. The pair had been together for eight years and have a baby boy together.
However, a few days after Zulu’s post, which has since been deleted, Okmalumkoolkat shared a post on Instagram hinting that they are still together.
Taylor announced on Instagram that she and Shumpert have split after seven years of marriage. She added: ”In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, “infidelity” ain’t one of the reasons for our departure. We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our two beautiful children.”
A source revealed to TshisaLIVE in May this year that Emtee has filed for divorce and moved out of the flat he shared with his estranged wife.
Moozlie and Sbuda broke up just as they were about to celebrate their 9th anniversary in July. They had been together for eight years.
Speaking about their breakup during an interview with Zingah on Choppin It With Buddha T‘s podcast, Moozlie said life happened, and she will always love Sbuda.
