Cassper Nyovest, who filled up the dome to show that SA artists don’t need to play second fiddle to international acts, will be the opening act for Nicki Minaj.
He told 5FM’s DJ Fresh this morning that he’s not the opening act, he’s the “support act”.
When asked by Fresh whether he felt that he’d gone backwards in terms of his original convictions about being a headliner, his explanation was odd.
He said that in his country he’s an A-lister and Nicki Minaj is an A-lister.
“I don’t know if that makes sense,” he said.
