Cassper has neither money nor sponsor for #FillUpFNBStadium

Rapper Cassper Nyovest managed to fill up Ticketpro Dome in 2015 without the help of an international artist. He has now recently announced the date for his much-anticipated event, #FillUpFNBStadium, which will be taking place this December.

In an interview with Anele Mdoda on Real Talk, the rapper said he would need about R15 million to do what he wanted to do and that he was aiming for at least 75 000 people.

Back in 2015, he paid R4.2 million to hire out Ticketpro Dome, while he made about R3 million on ticket sales, falling short by just under a million rand.

“I’m not making any money from Fill Up The Dome. I’m losing money from The Dome, but for me, it’s about how many kids I am going to inspire. There’s people who inspired me, like Kanye West, HHP, those are the people who made sacrifices for their own lives, and their story has inspired me to make something of myself,” he said.

This morning, he revealed that right now, he has neither money nor sponsor for his #FillUpFNBStadium event.

“Right now, I’m writing this tweet with no sponsor, no money for the stage, marketing and the labour, but I am trusting God cause he never fails me,” he tweeted.
