Cassper and Boity to reunite on Lip Sync Battle

Ex-lovers Boity Thulo and Cassper Nyovest, who recently made headlines about their split and left most fans hoping that the news were just rumours, will be reunited again in the first episode of Lip Sync Battle on April 14.

The pair will serve as the first celebrity contestants for the premiere episode of the MTV show, hosted by Pearl Thusi and Nigerian popular musician D’Banj.

“I plan on having a lot of fun on Lip Sync Battle Africa. Fans can expect to see me being less serious than I’d usually be, and just truly and honestly having fun – while still delivering a good show,” Cassper expressed in a statement, adding that he has no idea why MTV chose to put him in the first episode.

“I’m glad because then I don’t have the pressure to follow on someone else’s performance, I get to set the bar which is cool,” the statement further read.

The rapper’s former lover Thulo says the show took her completely out of her element and allowed her to have a time of her life. Thulo says fans can expect to see a side of her they have never seen and witness her freely making a fool of herself.
