Casper decides to sit down

South African comedy legend Casper de Vries has revealed that he has decided to close the door on the live stand-up part of his longstanding comedy career.

The funnyman, during an interview with Channel24 on Wednesday, exclusively revealed to them that his current ‘Casper Goes Khaki’ one-man comedy show will be his last.

He said: “Now I can concentrate on my painting and I can do movies and TV shows. I’ve done the one man show thing for 27 years now and it’s time to stop now.”

According to the website, the comedian explained that he decided to wait before dropping this bomb because “like with death, the end always comes unexpectedly”.
