Cardi B reactivated her Instagram account to announce that she and past collaborator Bruno Mars will drop a single this week.
Fresh off her Grammy win for “Invasion of Privacy,” Cardi B deactivated her Instagram account in response to backlash surrounding her win from some detractors.
However, her Instagram hiatus did not last long, and she’s now back with the good news that she and her fellow Grammy-winner Bruno Mars have a song on the way.

Last year, Cardi B earned praise after joining Mars on a remix of his track “Finesse” and appeared in a video for the remix that played homage to the ’90s TV show “In Living Color”.
The two artists were likewise scheduled to go on tour together last year as part of the final leg of Mars’s 24K Magic outing, but the Bronx rapper dropped out of their planned joint dates following the birth of her daughter.
Their new collaboration is slated to drop on Friday.
