Each week Nkosi and Nkonzo will choose contestants and guide them through crazy games. The contestants stand the chance of winning money to pay towards their unpaid bill. The overall winner will get a large amount of their debt paid.
“The show is irreverent in many ways but at its heart is the very serious fact that we know that many of our viewers are frequently battling to pay their bills,” says Nkateko Mabaso, M-Net’s Director for Local Interest Channels. “Give Me that Bill Mzansi is our way of making light of situations and giving people in need a helping hand.”
But the show’s producers aren’t looking for ordinary bills – they have to be crazy! – Like a large amount of money spent on a night out with the boys, an incredibly high telephone bill, expensive wedding extras or the gym classes your promised your spouse you would definitely cancel.
Members of the public are invited to audition for the first season of Give Me that Bill Mzansi.
Audition will take place on the 1st and 2nd of November at Bassline in Newtown – 10 Henry Nxumalo Stret, Johannesburg. doors open at 8am till 5pm . Potential contestants are required to bring along bills that are linked to a wild, funny or embarrassing story.
