South Africans excited to see Bryan Adams live once again

Canadian musician Bryan Adams is coming to South Africa once again and people who have seen him in concert before took to social media to declare that they wouldn’t mind seeing him perform again.

Adams is widely recognised as one of the most captivating performers on stage globally. His lively singing and dynamic stage performances have been entertaining audiences for more than 40 years.

On Monday, the singer’s official Twitter account confirmed that the ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour featuring Bryan Adams would be making it’s way to Africa’s southern-most country in November 2023.

Achievements and awards

Bryan Adams has put out a total of 18 studio albums, six compilation albums, two soundtrack albums, and six live albums. This is in addition to 74 singles. In 2022 he released new music in the form of four new studio albums, including So Happy It Hurts, which earned a Grammy nomination, and Pretty Woman – The Musical.

He has been honoured with numerous awards and distinctions for his songwriting, including three Academy Award nominations, five Golden Globe nominations, one Grammy Award, and 20 Juno Awards.

Bryan Adams’ 2023 Tour: Countries and dates

Bryan Adams is set to perform in several countries including the USA, Japan, South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and South Africa throughout 2023.

The South African leg of the So Happy It Hurts tour will commence on Tuesday, 7 November 2023, at Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town followed by a show on Friday, 10 November 2023, at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria.
