The 64th annual Grammy Awards took place last weekend where artists such as Black Coffee, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars, Kanye West, Tyler, The Creator, and Kendrick Lamar amongst others won awards for their talented musical works.
South Africa’s Black Coffee walked away with a Grammy for the Best Dance/Electronic Album for his seventh studio album, Subconsciously, making history by becoming the first African DJ to be awarded a Grammy Award.
“I remain in awe of God’s grace and mercy; because I did not prepare a speech for the ceremony, with this post I would like to extend my gratitude.
“I thank God for the gift of music, for blessing me with a beautiful healthy family, a wonderful group of friends and fans from all corners of the world,” said Black Coffee in the caption of his recent Instagram post.

According to KTLA, not only do the winners at the Grammy Awards walk away with goodies, but each and every A-lister present at the award show walks away with a gift bag filled with luxury goods which is said to amount to the value of R700,000.
The luxurious goodie bags are put together by Distinctive Assets, a niche marketing company offering celebrity placement and branding opportunities within the entertainment industry.
