The head of corporate affairs at MultiChoice Africa, Caroline Creasy, says Endemol (the company that produces Big Brother Africa) and M-Net are working hard to find another Big Brother Africa house already equipped with the cameras the show requires.
“We have a full team working on an alternate venue for Big Brother Africa,” she said. “This includes a global review of Big Brother houses that may be available for the production. No final decision has been made on the venue or the possible timing. The team is working around the clock to find solutions to get the show on air.”

The Big Brother Africa contestants from various countries on the continent arrived in Johannesburg this week for the scheduled launch of the show on Sunday. They are currently being accommodated in a Johannesburg hotel.
MultiChoice SA publicist Michelle Esau said that moving the show to another country would be a logistical nightmare. “We would have to fly all the contestants and an entire South African crew.”
