All weapons allowed in fist-clenching Rambo finale

Sylvester Stallone rolls back the years in an action-packed feature that will leave you clenching your fists, where, as always, Rambo is on a revenge mission.

Enthusiasts have been blown away with the latest installment of Rambo.

With thousands making their way to cinemas over the opening weekend to catch Rambo: Last Blood.

Having waited for the better part of a decade to feed their Rambo craving, devout fans couldn’t wait, with many leaving completely satisfied after experiencing a plethora of emotions.

A welcome surprise awaits all future views courtesy of the director, which undeniably evoked a certain sense of nostalgia.

Sylvester Stallone rolls back the years in an action-packed feature that will leave you clenching your fists, where, as always, Rambo is on a revenge mission.

The plot takes on a hyper-masculine, moral fury, suiting the main characters (Sylvester Stallone) off screen characteristics, mainly of him being a 73-year-old man.

Unlike some previous releases in the franchise, audiences could buy into the heroics displayed and back breaking stunts, in this latest version of Rambo, John plays a brave, sharp-witted but still very capable old man.

He has transformed his character to a thinker rather than an action man. He learns to use what he has to his advantage. Mobility, strength and stamina have all evaded him with the years, but this won’t stop John.

After being beating to within an inch of his Life, John plots his revenge and is forced to send his family away to minimise collateral damage.

Will John survive this war?

Rambo: Last Blood, now in cinemas.
