AKA and East Coast Radio’s Drive Time presenter Bongani Mtolo set aside their past differences for a candid radio interview.
Supa Mega opened up to Mtolo about more than just his latest release, Touch My Blood. He also spoke about his relationship with TV personality Bonang Matheba, whom he referred to as “Beyonce” in the interview, saying he couldn’t, legally, mention names.
AKA revealed that he believed “Beyonce” was cheating on him and, although he did not regret his relationship with her, he was no longer in love with her.
AKA’s been a hot topic this week, and not just because he recently dropped a new album. His name (and lack thereof) came up in two interviews this week, on Real Talk on SABC. On Tuesday, his baby mama DJ Zinhle spoke of the challenges the pair had, but that they’d made it to a ‘good space’.
“It took a lot of work. We’re still working on it, but we’re in a good space,” she said. “I think parenting was just a tricky thing to figure out,” Zinhle told the show’s host, Azania Mosake.
The interview took place just a day after Azania sat down with Bonang and asked her on the show whether she’d regretted any of the decisions she’d made in the past. We all know how that turned out.
