The Mabala Noise saga has everyone telling their side of the story and AKA is standing firm in his support of the record label.
Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema made it public last week that, according to him, artists of the record label were paid R5 million each to join and this amount was pilfered from state coffers. Malema claimed Minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane had given Mabala Noise CEO Reggie Nkabinde millions in tenders and this had gone to fund the label.
While Riky Rick is the only artist who has hit back at Malema, saying his claims were not true, other artists signed to Mabala Noise have chosen to keep mum.
