WATCH: Debate turns sexual, Ndlozi sings ‘Omunye Phez’ Komunye’ in parly

The people's bae has joined Cassper Nyovest and Zodwa Wabantu in the dance challenge that has taken Mzansi by storm.

It is safe to say Distruction Boyz’ Omunye Phez’ Komunye is a hit with South African fans, and the people’s bae Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has indirectly confirmed it after singing it in parliament.

In a video that has resurfaced on social media, MPs were debating on the Traditional and Khoisan Leadership Bill on Tuesday when DA MP David Matsepe debated in Sepedi when he was accused of misleading the public.

He was interrupted by another MP, who said what he was saying was “unparliamentary”, though speaker Baleka Mbete said there was nothing wrong with what Matsepe had said.

Matsepe continued, and said in Sepedi that he would “get off” the MP who had interrupted him and continue with his argument. What he was not expecting was his statement to take a sexual turn, after another MP stood up and asked him what he meant when he said he would “get off” her.

She asked if he was on top of her to begin with, to laughter from other MPs.

While Mbete insisted it was not the time to be playing, Ndlozi stood up and also insisted on translating what the MP had said.

“Honourable speaker, let me translate: they mean Omunye Phez’ Komunye [one on top of another],” said Ndlozi while laughing.
