The Cape Town International Comedy Festival, sponsored by Pura Soda, is coming to the mother city in March. The original Cape Town Comedy festival launched in 1996 and was the first international comedy event on the continent. Since then, it has staged hundreds of international artists from around the globe and sold over a million tickets. This year, it will be held at the Artscape Theatre from 1 March 2020 to 8 March 2020, showcasing a variety of local and international acts including comedic masters like Loyiso Gola, Bobby Collins and Nik Rabinowitz.
