THE NESTLÉ NESPRAY SOUTH AFRICAN MATHEMATICS CHALLENGE
In 2019, NESTLÉ NESPRAY partnered with the South African Mathematics Foundation to support the critical state of mathematics in South Africa by sponsoring the NESTLÉ NESPRAY South African Mathematics Challenge for learners in Grades 4 – 7. The Challenge which started in 1977 is aimed to empower learners to become independent, creative and critical thinkers who will be able to interpret and critically analyse everyday situations that will allow them to solve problems. It promotes teamwork, enthusiasm and helps to develop future leaders and influencers in not only science & engineering but across all walks of life.
NESTLÉ NESPRAY, understands the importance of mathematics as a subject and is collaborating with SAMF to demystify Mathematics by making problem solving skills accessible, inclusive & communal through an enticing campaign for both parents and children. By amplifying the NESTLÉ NESPRAY South African Mathematics Challenge, making mathematics attractive and bringing it to the forefront as a subject needed to build a brighter future in South Africa.
