Truck and trailer auction coming up

That’s the news from PVA’s LeRoy Augustyn who is charged with overseeing the auction.

Under the banner of truck tractors, PVA will auction Mercedes-Benz Axor, Actros, MAN TGA, Nissan UD 440, UD 460 and UD 390, Iveco, International 9800 and CISX-530.

Rigid trucks to be auctioned include Toyota Dyna, Tata 1518 and 3434. Trailers include SA Truck Bodies, Hendred, Afrit, Motor Trail, flat deck link trailers, skeletal, curtain
side trailers, side tipper trailers and CTS side tipper link trailers.

Quality earthmoving equipment and farming equipment will also be auctioned on the day. Assets include skidsteer loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, a Terex powerscreen, tractors, harvesters and planters.

“If our previous auctions are anything to go by, this auction should be a crowd-puller,” notes Augustyn, who explains that PVA’s capital equipment auctions have achieved consistently high prices of late, a factor he largely a ributes to a rallying construction sector.
