Summertime, and the selling is easy

The day starts off with the household furniture auction, which will see a multitude of quality lots coming under the hammer, including more than R500 000 worth of patio furniture.

Lisa Hill from Aucor says: “These lots include three- to 10-piece patio suites as well as pool loungers and cocoon hanging chairs.

“With the warm weather now settling over the Highveld, it’s an ideal time to buy beautiful outdoor furniture and we certainly have a variety of items that will appeal to a broad range of tastes.”

There are also a range of lounge suites, dining room suites, wall units, top branded appliances and base and mattress sets.

The mart auction will be followed by the Super Car event at noon, featuring a wide range of vehicles at the top end of the market as well as exotic categories.

Among these are a 2011 Nissan GTR Premium (Spec 3) with 14 000km on the clock and a canary- yellow 2005 Lamborghini coupe.

The auction wouldn’t be complete without a range of pristine restored classics, including a 1978 left-hand drive Red Chevrolet Camaro, which has a 4.1 litre in-line six-cylinder engine.

The auction will also feature a 1972 Lincoln Continenta Mark IV auto with black leather seats and a Ford Ranchero V8 auto with just 23 000km on the clock.
