Popular resort on the market

On April 12, Van's Auctioneers and Van Rensburgs Auctions will bring to market the renowned and prestigious Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge that is a world class RCI affiliated resort.


The holiday resort will be auctioned as a going concern, with-out reserve and by the fall of the hammer.

Crystal Springs lies at the top of Robbers Pass on the historic coach road to Pilgrims Rest.

Waterfalls, streams, sweeping views, free roaming game and cool natural pools are offered as well as a number of hiking trails. Crystal Springs has an abundance of birdlife and many wild animals inhabit the nature reserve.

Crystal Springs has a reputable name in the tourism industry. It enjoys gold crown status at RCI as well as a four-star rating by the tourism grading council. Multiple reviews have complimented the resort for its unmatched luxury, excellence and high standards. Crystal Springs has an enviable location and is en route to many of Mpumalanga’s most famous tourist attractions. The breathtaking Blyde River Canyon is within close range.

The resort has a pristine clubhouse facility. It houses a fully equipped gym, indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi’s, sauna, steam bath, beauty salon, conference and dining facility.

Other facilities include a games room, mini golf course, tennis courts, squash courts, trampolines, jungle gyms, outdoor swimming pools and sunbathing areas, a spacious built in pub, neat restaurant with a large kitchen, coffee shop, tuck shop, ample storage facilities, workshops, and comfortable accommodation for management and staff.

The original Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge is part of ± 5000 hectares of pristine Mpumalanga bushveld, but the lodge will be auctioned in two separate lots. The first lot consists of the 130 luxury chalets and units that vary in size, style and location. It also consists of 14 additional units currently utilised as staff accommodation, the clubhouse and other recreational facilities. This property is approximately 2075 hectares in extent and has rights for further development.

The second lot is approximately 2527 hectares in extent and is better known as the Mantsibi Game Ranch.

It is also adjacent to lot one and consists of three dwelling units, a picturesque dam and a variety of game which includes blesbok, blue wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, giraffe, impala, kudu, red hartebeest, tsetsebe and waterbuck. This farm is ideal for the farming of exotic game species.

It is located in a beautiful part of Mpumalanga and boasts all the luxuries and facilities that its guests might require.
