The price increases for petrol and diesel as of February 6 have been announced by the department of energy.
The good news is that the price of illuminating paraffin will drop by 7 cents a litre and that of liquid petroleum gas will drop by 11 cents per kilogram.
The prices of both grades of petrol will rise by 7 cents a litre, while consumers will pay 1 cent a litre more for 0.05% sulphur diesel and 2 cents a litre more for 0.005% sulphur diesel.
