The day will be divided into four sessions:
Session 1 at 11am
Numismatics will feature a selection of South African and world gold and silver coins, ZAR, “Goevernements” and bank notes, bullion and medallions.
Session 2 at 1pm
Estate jewellery will continue with a selection of gold and diamond jewellery, fob, pocket and wrist watches, including a selection of nine and 18ct rings, neck chains, bracelets, pendants, brooches and miscellaneous gold and silver “scrap” among the 120 lots under the hammer.
Session 3 at 3pm
Cellared South African vintage red wines dating from 1982-2001 from the following estates: Rust en Vrede, Meerendal, Swartland, Groot Constatnia, Du Toitskloof, Villeria, Bellingham, Middelvlei, Jacobsdal, Beyerskloof, Diemersdal, Douglas Green, Alto, Vergelegen and Nederburg. Select Ports by KWV from 1963-1967 and 1986; together with Landskroon, Die Krans, Monis and Goede Hoop as well as rare whiskeys and a unique collection of beer/ale tap-handles.
Session 4 at 6pm
South African Art with 150 lots to choose from, including paintings by Sanell Aggenbach, Kenneth Baker, Walter Battiss, Olaf Bisshoff, Johannes Blatt, Craig Bone Gregoire Boonzaier, Jan Henri Booyens, Errol Boyley, Carl Buchner, Bettie Cilliers-Barnard, Frans Claerhout, W.H Coetzer, Branko Dimitrov, Zakkie Eloff, George Enslin, Robert Hodgins, Otto Klar, Wendy Malan, Erich Mayer, Judith Mason, Clare Menck, Christiaan Nice, J H Pierneef, Alexander Rose-Innes, Robert Slingsby, Pieter van der Westhuizen, Maurice van Essche, Jan Vermeiren, Diane Victor, Marjorie Wallace and Walter Westbrook.
