Own a piece of paradise

With its unsurpassed beauty and unique combination of fynbos, sea views, rivers, lakes, mountains and enchanting forests, the Cape Garden Route is an African jewel nestled between the Indian Ocean, and Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma Mountains. This region also has an oceanic climate offering pleasant temperatures all year round.

The first property to be auctioned is a 760m² stand in the exclusive Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort. The resort is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from George airport and is home to a world-class Peter Matkovich designed golf course that is integrated with the natural elements of cliffs and oceans. This auction will take place on December 18 at 10am.

On the same day, at 1pm, a 1591m² stand will be sold at Wilderness. Wilderness is situated in a remote location approximately 20 minutes from George along the N2 main route. Wilderness has a peaceful and mystical ambience with the Towsrivier meandering through the small town. It has a scarce ecosystem with eight kilometres of coastline, rivers, estuaries and lakes.

Plettenberg Bay was formerly named Beautiful Bay by ancient mariners, and is considered to be one the most captivating destinations of the Garden Route. On December 19, Van’s Auctioneers will sell three properties in Plettenberg Bay. At 10am and 11am, two large stands will be sold at the immaculate Brackenridge Estate.

The estate is a 128 hectare nature preserve with 280 sites, and offers its residents unspoiled views and access to the outdoors within the estates secure parameters.

At 1pm a 1 592m² stand will be sold at Schoongezicht Estate in Plettenberg Bay. Schoongezicht Estate is described as a Mediterranean type settlement because of the natural surroundings that were maintained during the development. The estate has a 1.8km boardwalk where residents can enjoy the indigenous forest and abundance of birds.

Small antelopes are also often spotted in the estate. The estate also borders the Plettenberg Bay Golf and Country Club and has fabulous views of the Indian Ocean and coastline.

Knysna, with its prominent lagoon, lush forests, lakes, rivers and fynbos, is a place favored by vast amounts of visitors, artists and free spirited individuals. On December 20, a 640m² stand with spectacular sea views will be sold at Knysna’s Brenton on Sea. The auction will proceed at 11am. At noon a 1 506m² stand will be sold at Fernwood Estate, Knysna.

Fernwood Estate is a fairly new development within close proximity to the fabulous Pezula golf course. The estate has breathtaking views of Knysna’s main attractions. And at 2pm a 3.9 hectare smallholding will be auctioned.
