One for all the heavy-duty fans
Investors keen to benefit from opportunities brought about by the government's National Infrastructure Plan launched in 2012 shouldn't miss the first major auction of heavy-duty assets by Consolidated Auction Group.

Mechanical horses, trucks, forklifts, tippers, construction and earthmoving equipment, as well as super-linkers, inter-linkers and many other industrial assets to create link-up opportunities for medium to small construction contractors in particular, will all be brought to market.
Bidders can also expect side-tippers, slopers, flat-decks, volume- and drop-side trucks.
Bringing up the rear are lighter carriers but no-less-in-demand LDVs.
“It’s a good time to buy reliable, pre-owned construction work-horses,” says Da Silva, Consolidated’s principal auctioneer.
“All signs point to movement in the infrastructure sector and development will no doubt drive demand. Once work really picks up for the year the prices of requisite machinery is set to increase.
“It therefore makes sense, especially for medium to smaller operators in the construction arena, to invest in good truck and plant assets before demand kicks in and prices go up.
“It’s all about good-value machines at great prices.”
