Mining assets available online

Park Village Auctions (PVA) has once again been commissioned by a major mining industry player to auction a collection of surplus assets.

During the month of October, PVA will host Glencore’s annual clearance sale online. Assets to be auctioned include – among others – a 777 tipper, LDH, LDV, Komatsu front-end loaders, farm implements, gearboxes, engines, transformers, conveyer structures, diesel tank containers, pulleys, pressure vessels and electrical panels.

Notes PVA’s Dr Bertie Saunderson: “There are some practical assets to be had at this auction. The Komatsu front-end loaders in particular should pique the interest of many buyers given their broad use across numerous sectors including quarrying, mining, construction and road works. The dump truck is another valuable asset that should turn heads.

“Many of the other assets, such as the engines, transformers and conveyor structures can also be repurposed across a number of different scenarios. In a nutshell, this should prove to be a particularly useful auction for many and we are proud to assist Glencore with their streamlining activities via our excellent online platform.”
