The upper level features a bedroom and a large family room and bar leading out to a balcony and car port.
The second portion, portion 64, is occupied by an attractive single-storey house comprising a large open-plan lounge/dining room, a kitchen with scullery, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Portion 64 also features five flatlets, the largest comprising an open-plan lounge/kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. Two of the flatlets feature an open-plan lounge/kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom. The remaining flatlets comprise an open plan lounge/kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. Each flat has access to covered parking. In total, portion 64 measures over six hectares.
Other amenities include a double garage, a shed, a butcher’s room with walk-in fridge, a workshop, a pigpen, water storage tanks and a swimming pool.
Portion 37 comprises the vandalised shell of two office buildings, stores, workshops and various other facilities previously used in the manufacture and storage of bricks. In total, portion 37 measures over six hectares.
Says PVA’s Jaco du Toit: “Each portion has something going for it. Portion 61 should appeal to a family on the lookout for a holiday retreat. Portion 64 will suit a large family seeking semi self-sufficient, farmstyle living and its flatlets further enhance the property’s appeal given their income-generating potential. With the right investment, portion 37 could be revitalised and put to good use once again.
“All in all, the portions make for very auctionable property.”
