Just what the doctor ordered

Stock to be auctioned includes a large assortment of surgical disposables and medical devices comprising, among many other similar items, a variety of nonsterile gauze swabs, surgical face masks, protection sheets, beret caps, assorted surgical drapes, gloves, procedure trays and scalpel blades.

A range of vehicles will also be auctioned, including Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, Mercedes-Benz Vito 113 CDIs, a Mercedes-Benz Viano CD130, a Ford Ranger 1800 LDV and a Mitsubishi Canter 35.

A sizeable collection of quality office furniture and equipment will also go under the hammer. Assets under this banner include executive desks, filing cabinets, computers, boardroom tables, leather suites, display cabinets, kitchen equipment, paintings, prints and canteen equipment.

Miscellaneous items to be auctioned include a large assortment of industrial shelving and racking, pallet jacks, steel trolleys and a large generator.

PVA’s Paul Lendia says the assets will be sold on two auctions, which will be held in Johannesburg and Cape Town.

He says: “It’s not every day medical supplies – the bulk of which have yet to even be unpacked – come to market. As such, it represents an excellent opportunity for similarly orientated entities to acquire quality stock at bargain prices. The vehicles, office equipment and other miscellaneous items are of a particularly good calibre, too, and should appeal to business interests across the board.”
