Home is where the Hart-ies

Hartbeespoort Dam is conveniently located between Pretoria, Johannesburg and Rustenburg and to city dwellers, spending weekends at Harties means both relaxation and adventure.

Meandering along the roads in Hartbeespoort you’ll find a variety of restaurants, markets and stalls, most with a unique style and charisma. What attracts visitors the most is the abundance of culture and heritage sites, animal sanctuaries and all kinds of family and adventure activities around the dam.

On November 27, Van’s Auctioneers will sell two elegant double storey units that are situated in Schoemansville. This residential suburb is one of Hartbeespoort Dam’s most established areas. Schoemansville is nestled against the scenic background of the Magalies Mountains and overlooks the tranquil waters of the Schoemansville Yacht Club. The suburb is situated North East of Hartbeespoort Dam, bordering Melodie as well as the dam wall and floodgates.

The units are located in a secure complex and were formerly utilised as a guesthouse. Because of the gradual slope on which the complex is built, it has a far reaching view of landscapes and mountains.

Unit 3 and 4 are accessed from a quiet cul-de-sac and there are only five units in the complex. There is a communal swimming pool and braai area, additional shade net parking and each unit has its own private garden.

Both units have spacious living areas. The fittings are modern and durable and each unit also has a penthouse. One of the penthouses is currently being leased, with very good current monthly income, and the purchaser will have the option to purchase the property with or without the lease agreement.
