Great investment waits

Multiple properties located in the heart of the Highveld coalfields will be sold on November 27 by Van's Auctioneers.

There are four adjacent smallholdings with a total of 16.3 hectares, each with various improvements.

These properties are well-suited for industrial business ope-rations and can be accessed from the R555 and N12 main routes. The properties are centrally located between Delmas, Witbank and Bronkhorstspruit and are within close range to the Kendal power station, as well as the new Kusile power station that is under construction by Eskom.

The Kusile power station is approximately 15 kilometers north of Kendal and is one of the first coal-fired power stations in South Africa.

Designed by an international company, it uses advanced environmental technology for its operation.

Kusile consists of six 900-mega-watt coal fired generating units and is expected to have a genera-ting capacity of up to 4 800 megawatts.

The Kusile power station is believed to be one of the largest energy infrastructure projects under construction in the world and the aim is to supply South Africa with reliable electricity, as well as new employment opportunities, skills and knowledge transfer programmes. Various new coalmines will be required in the area to support the power station.

All this will result in a higher demand for housing and industrial premises in the vicinity.

There are four adjacent smallholdings that will be auctioned at Kendal Forest Holdings, as well as two unimproved smallholdings.

The four smallholdings have a large amount of improvements that include workshops, storage facilities, offices, lock-up garages and residential improvements.
