Estate homes up for grabs

Located in Strubenvale, Springs on Grootvaly Road, Park Village Auctions (PVA) will soon bring to auction the first phase of Grootvlei Residential Estate, which comprises 18 unique, free-standing homes.

The homes range in size from 127m2 to 408m2, feature up to four bedrooms and sit astride stands measuring up to 1 699m2.

The estate is fully walled and features 24-hour access control, tarred internal roads and driveways, a pool, squash courts and parks.

In terms of surrounds, it will be of interest to investors to know that Springs plays host to a number of large industrial concerns which produce processed metals, chemicals, paper and foodstuffs.

Springs also offers all the major amenities and facilities necessary for day-to-day living. Interestingly, the estate lies within close reach of the internationally renowned 350-hectare Grootvaly Wetland Reserve, which accommodates some 450 bird species and a number of antelope.

According to PVA’s Louise Visagie, nine of the homes are currently tenanted, collectively producing around R47 000/pm in gross rental income.

All of the homes are in good condition. Overall, she says the estate has “fantastic” buy-to-let potential and should not be passed up by those with a taste for such endeavours.

Info:

> Viewing will take place on October 12 between 12pm and 4pm.

> The auction will commence on site from 11am onwards on October 14.
