Don’t miss board sale
Park Village Auctions (PVA) will once again host a “mega” auction, which will see the entire contents of a large chipboard plant auctioned off next month.
Although viewing will take place on foot, bidding will be entirely online via PVA’s online bidding platform, says PVA’s Paul Lendia, who is overseeing the auction.
The chipboard plant includes a drying area; a 1981 Bison BKT20, consisting of wet flake pneumatic transport; a wet flake bucket elevator; a wet flake silo with extraction screw and sliding frame; a dryer in-feed conveyor; a dryer drum; a cyclone structure; an outfeed conveyor; a dust and oil burner; steel structures; Bison surface and core flake material bunkes; andd a PLC system – and more.
Under the banner of a press system, a large collection of items will be auctioned including a 1981 Diffenbacher type HPOG/NV, a 3.0N/mm2 6.000X2 160mm single opening press, consisting of a main press with hydraulic pressure system, a thermal oil heating system, electric cabinets, and operation desks.
Dosing, gluing and forming equipment will also go under the hammer.
Primary assets amongst this large collection include a 1981 Bison forming line 1350 and movable steel belt, which includes chain conveyors, dosing bins, belt scales, glue lenders, a Bison Toledo-Imal glue mixing dosing unit, a cooled water system, belt conveyors, a distributor conveyor, a forming line with steel belt, a cross-saw and lateral rimming saw, a belt lubrication system, and a Schwabedissen saw unit.
Sanding line equipment, including a 1978 Bison MSM 2K220 machine and Steinemann Nova 220k machine, will also be auctioned off.
“This auction is shaping up to be an auction of note and represents an excellent opportunity for chipboard orientated entities to obtain high quality equipment at good prices,” says Lendia.
“The fact that all assets are being auctioned online makes it that much easier to participate.
“Importantly, bidders can see who is bidding against them in real time. In the current economic climate, such an opportunity should not be passed up.”
