Array of auctions in store

On September 2, about R5.5 million worth of retail and trade supplies, headlined by a wide range of fully boxed snack products, will come up for sale at the company’s Germiston mart and machinery centre at 10 President Street.

In addition, Chico da Silva will chant his way through new and used top-quality restaurant, catering, bakery and butchery equipment, as well as counter and upright refrigerators, gazebos, outdoor umbrellas, cafe and hi-tech chairs, cocktail tables, bar stools and conference tables.

The auction starts at 10.30am, and the next day, at the same time, Da Silva’s hammer will be hoisted over completely different lots.

This time the estimated value of the goods on auction is in the R8 million range and includes sound and security electronics.

If you’re in the market for PABX, CCTV and other home security stocks, you don’t have to go anywhere else because Consolidated has it all at a fraction of retail prices. Everybody is spending on home surveillance these days, but you shouldn’t have to flog assets to pay for anti-baddie buys.

This massive clearance also features delivery vehicles, trucks, a sound stage, speaker sets and lighting equipment, keyboards, a dance floor, shelving, banquet chairs and tables as well as accessories.

Following this auction, Consolidated will hold one of its regular evening sales of bank-repossessed cars. The auction on September 3 starts at 7pm.
