Line Of Power leads to Que Cosas in the Bay

Recently transferred from Cape Town with a record for consistency to his name, four-year-old Line Of Power was backed to score on his Fairview debut and delivered in style.

Champions of the Bay, trainer Alan Greeff and jockey Greg Cheyne, provide punters with a backbone for their Pick 6 and Jackpot permutations for Monday’s Fairview Polytrack race meeting.

The duo could quite easily win four races in succession through the middle of the afternoon, but, at the very least, provide the day’s banker bet with Line Of Power in Race 6.

Recently transferred from Cape Town with a record for consistency to his name, four-year-old Line Of Power was backed to score on his Fairview debut and delivered in style.

Three weeks on, pitched over the same course and distance of 1000m, the money has come again, putting the son of What A Winter at 9-10 in ante-post betting.

Second favourite is Rock The Kazvar, who could be included in exotics perms by the more conservative.

Que Cosas in Race 7 is another Greeff-Cheyne runner who has been backed in recent outings. However, the four-year-old filly is a skittish girl and things haven’t gone her way in four runs since her last win in mid-August.

This 1200m contest looks like the time and place for her to redeem herself and bring some return on investment.
