GREYVILLE POLYTRACK
BEST BET
RACE 8 NO 3 PROUD MASTER – WIN
The same rule will apply to both our Best Bet and Value Bet. Both horses have excellent form on the turf and it will all be down to how they adapt to the Polytrack.
Proud Master has only run twice, finishing unplaced on debut and then scoring a runaway 4.60 length winner at Scottsville.
Dennis Drier is a top trainer and he will have worked his charge on the Polytrack so this son of Master Of My Fate should be hard to beat.
VALUE BET
RACE 3 NO 2 PINK FLOYD – EACH-WAY
This six-year-old gelding was sent to Durban specifically to race on the Polytrack but did not do well in his first couple of starts however, he has since changed trainers and has produced two excellent runs on the turf. That should have given him some confidence and trainer Carl Hewitson, father of champion jockey Lyle, knows how to train horses on the surface so at odds of 8-1, Pink Floyd should be a really decent each-way bet.
