RACE 4 NO 6 PONTE PIETRA – WIN

Dean Kannemeyer’s charge made an excellent debut at Scottsville in July, finishing third. He has not run since but this beautifully bred colt looks to have a bright future and is not meeting the strongest field.

VALUE BET

RACE 6 NO 1 QUEEN OF SPARTA – EACHWAY

This filly looked talented as a juvenile but when she made her handicap debut at the end of July in open company, she ran a shocker, despite going off quite a strong favourite. The stable are in top form and this field is not the strongest around.

If close to her best she should have this bunch for breakfast and looks good value at 7-1.

It is also worth noting she is one of only two rides for stable jockey Aldo Domeyer.
