Paul Peter’s runners has been knocking at the door with three successive second spots. Peter seems to have found the perfect race for his charge to notch up his second win.

Importantly, he has run well in wet going as the penetrometer reading was 27 this morning and the going is soft.

VALUE BET

RACE 7: QUARTET: DOUBLE FLOAT NO 2 TUSCAN WINTER AND NO 9 RAMCHANDANI ROAD WITH THE FIELD

There have been a number of scratchings from this race and this full Quartet would cost R360, so one will get 10% for just R36.  

The two horses to float have some form in the wet while most of the others have not raced in soft underfoot conditions and are unknown quantities.
