Finding a best bet on today’s card is not easy as it comprises 10 feature races, but this unbeaten runner looks special and should be very hard to beat. He is well drawn and should enjoy the Greyville track.

RACE 6: QUARTET: DOUBLE FLOAT 5-ALESIAN CHIEF AND 2-BIG BURN WITH THE FIELD

There is a R500,000 Quartet carryover to this race and the pool is expected to reach R3 million. The Mercury Sprint is one of the toughest races on the card and is notorious for throwing upsets. This Quartet will pay well.

Both Alesian Chief and Big Burn have excellent form over this distance and are well weighted and well drawn so they make promising floating bankers.
