This is a half-brother to Grade 1 winning Vardy but only started his racing career quite late and has only run four times. He clearly has his issues, but did run a very nice race last time when second over 1600m.

He looks likely to benefit from the additional 200m this time and looks ready to find his way to the No 1 box for the first time.

RACE 7 NO 9 LINE OF POWER

The expression “horses for courses” really comes into lay at Durbanville’s undulating and tight turning track as it does not suit all horses. So form at the course is important and that is what Line Of Power has as he has a record of one win and two places from four runs.

He has a good jockey in Greg Cheyne and although he is drawn widest of the 10 runners, the 16-1 on offer makes his an attractive each-way bet in an open race.
