A man was arrested for possession of a hijacked motor vehicle in Yeoville.
The arrest took place at the corner of Saunders and Cavendish streets on Friday, August 9.
According to Constable Thabo Malatji, the spokesperson of the Yeoville SAPS, police received information about a suspicious vehicle that was parked inside a property. On arrival, police officers found the man filling up the vehicle with petrol.
The suspect was subsequently arrested for possession of a hijacked motor vehicle. Const Malatji said the suspect is expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon. @JoburgJourno
