Masoka is a journalist at The Citizen.
He mostly writes about social justice.
He has studied Journalism and Media Studies at Damelin College and he also obtained an advanced Certificate in Management Development from Wits Business School.
He started his career at the Sowetan in 2006 as an intern. He has worked for different media houses including Sunday World, Mail & Guardian, GroundUp, Viewfinder, African Eye News Service, South Africa Press Association, Mukururu Media, Spanish News Agency( EFE), MpowerFM and MixFM.
He worked as an editor for several provincial newspapers including The NewsHorn Newspaper, The Youth Voice and Highveld Chronicle.
He has won the Sam Nzima Journalism Award and The Citizens Award of Excellence( Newcomer).
He believes in giving voice to the voiceless.
