Magda is a retired journalist with 40 years' experience in the media industry. She began her career as a reporter at Beeld and later advanced to the role of arts editor before becoming a key member of the chief editorial team. As a deputy editor at Rapport, she spearheaded the launch of the magazine MyTyd. She then shifted her focus to production, leading the production teams of Afrikaans newspapers and Netwerk24.
