Three great auctions coming up

Property and plant assets including trucking and construction lots will rule the roost at Consolidated Auction Group this coming week.

On May 22 Consolidated will bring to market a range of good-condition, bank-repossessed heavy-duty machinery at 10 President Street in Germiston.

On offer from 10.30am are mechanical horses, trucks, forklifts, tippers, construction and earth-moving equipment, side-tippers, super-linkers and slopers, flat-decks, inter-linkers, double- and single-axle pan-technikons, volume- and drop-side vans, as well as LDVs.

It’s an absolute must for buyers in the market for excellent value for money on much-needed infrastructure building machinery that usually breaks the bank if bought brand new.

The same day, also starting at 10.30am, is a stately residential property, in the sleepy town of Heidelberg.

The house on an erf of more than 1500m2 consists mainly of a main house and cottage and comprise three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large lounge and country kitchen, knotty pine floors with pressed ceilings, with a one bedroom one bathroom cottage to add to the property’s allure.

Situated close to all amenities, the property at 8 Begeman Street will be followed by another on-site property sale on May 23.

Once again starting at 10.30am an irrigated farm of more than 53 hectares in the Brits district will come under the hammer of Chico da Silva and company.

Currently carrying lucern and oats, the farm also has two boreholes and Eskom electricity.

It also contains standard dwellings and shacks.
