Well-maintained equipment on offer

Park Village Auctions (PVA) is off to a strong start this year with the auction of a large collection of chrome processing plant and equipment.

The assets stem from Pro-wreck Scrap Metals which is located in the district of Mooi Nooi.

Instructed by the estate’s joint liquidators, PVA will auction the assets on January 28 from 10.30am onwards. Assets to be auctioned include assorted Liebherr L564/574 wheel loaders, a Liebherr PR 742N dozer, a Bell 850C dozer, assorted Volvo A360D dumpers, a Liugong PY 185A grader, assorted Liebherr A924/964/R954B excavators, a Kawasaki 85Z4 wheel loader, a Fiat 780 tractor and draw-bar water trailer, a Komatsu D65E-8E dozer and assorted Liebherr R934 HDSL/R964 BHD Litronic excavators.

In addition to these assets, PVA will auction a P&H 15 ton mobile crane, a Chief 1800 mobile screen, a Svedala Powerscreen 3 deck, a home-built tri-axle flat deck trailer, Mercedes Benz 2648 Actros, a 100 ton low bed trailer, a Terex TA30 dumper, a Kia 2700 LDV, a crusher/mill, an Extec 5000S 2 deck mobile screen, tooling, mechanical equipment and much more besides.

Given the calibre and nature of the stock to be auctioned, PVA’s Paul Lendia believes this auction will pique the interest of a variety of entities ranging from engineering and earth-moving concerns to construction and junior mining firms.

“Much of the stock due to go under the hammer has been well-maintained and is in good working order. This aspect, coupled with the current uncertain economic climate will, in all probability, work in this auction’s favour,” he said.
