The ward councillor for Ward 38, Clr Malcolm Maifala, would like to bring your attention the following information regarding a project conducted by the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport.

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is undertaking a routes determination exercise for Route B3 and Route B4, located south of Alberton, for its planned K89 route south west of Thokoza, and the planned K87 route west of Brackenhurst.

The project includes an environmental screening process.

The public comment period for the proposed projects (Routes B3 and B4) is between September 23 and October 13 and stakeholders are invited to attend any of the public meetings as indicated below:

Brackenhurst Primary School, Begonia street, Brackenhurst, Alberton, on Saturday, October 8, at 10:00 – 12:00 or 14:00 – 16:00.
