Ray Phiri’s funeral took place at Mbombela stadium in Nelspruit today.

He died of lung cancer two weeks ago. As a directive from The Presidency, granted by the President of South Africa a Special Provincial Funeral Category 2 will be held in honour of the legendary Ray Phiri. National flags will be flown half mast today.
