Singh: South Africa has skillful players

Sporting Braga striker Luther Singh says South Africa is home to some of the most skillful players in the world.

Singh earned his first senior men’s team call up after cementing his place in South Africa’s Under-20 squad. He has one cap so far after turning out for Bafana Bafana in a friendly against Angola in a 0-0 draw.

“For me, South Africa has a lot of very good players, and I think South Africa has some of the most skilful players in the world,” Singh told Soccer Laduma.

“It’s difficult to compare myself to other South African players, though, because I’ve never played in the South African league, at the top level,” he added.

“So it’s hard to compare myself to them.”
